Almond Tea is a flavored black tea combining the nutty warmth of almond flavoring with a smooth black tea base — a dessert-like profile with roots in the European tradition of nut-flavored teas and tisanes. Almond notes complement black tea’s natural malt and biscuit character exceptionally well, creating a cup that is warming, subtly sweet, and deeply satisfying without added sugar.
In quality loose-leaf versions, almond flavoring is derived from bitter almond extract or natural almond oil, delivering genuine nuttiness rather than a synthetic approximation. The black tea base provides structure and caffeine while the almond rounds the edges.
